hai...i have an html form where i have a select option which shows a drop down menu.......
what i need is a menu of the following form...
item-1
item-2
item-3->
item-4
item-5->

wherever the arrow appears the the menu should open a new submenu horizontally...
item-1
item-2
item-3->sub item-1
subitem-2
submenu-3


when i use optgroup in select i am getting it all in one single menu...can i create the above...i guess i will have to use javascript....could anyone please direct ne to some pages which describes how to do this?thanks in advance...

can't hide/display like that in a dropdown...you would need a js dropdown menu type thing
