I've been using Adoobe Creative Suite which had Photoshop CS.  I recently purchased Photoshop CS3.   CS3 will not accept the ID number from CS.   Will CS3 NOT upgrade from the Creative Suite version of Photoshop CS.   The Adobe website was no help.

As far as I know, you would have to upgrade the entire creative suite when upgrading rather than just one of the included apps.

This months PC magazine has a nice article on Macromedia and Photoshop upgrades. The mag is well done and very very cheap.
