Hi,
I guess this may be a simple one for you guys.
I wish to copy an Excel document onto my Corel page.
Currently when I copy my excel cells and paste them onto a corel page only A-F appear, but the document is A-H.
I'm using Office 2002 and Corel 12.
Should I "paste" or "import"?
Any detailed explaination of how the options within the "import" command work would be greatly appreciated.

many thanks

when I need to use office's data files in corel, I always use pdf:

1. install any program to print to pdf (acrobat pro 4.0-7.0 - commercial, or any freeware prog like ghostscript or pdf995, or etc. look on simtel.net)

2. print from excel/word to pdf-printer (if possible, in printer's setup use fonts to curves, 'cause coreldraw's import of pdf with many text object is poor in my opinion)

3. import this pdf in coreldraw - so you'll have native corel objects - lines, text, etc.

4. if needed, select the imported objects and make them cmyk

I use this for files destined to offset printing, the best proven way I know

I have tried many times do import pdf files into Coreldraw, but usually, the only files I can manage to import are the pdf files created with coreldraw itself.

I have tried PDF995, CutePDF, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.

All the files created with these programs return a "file is corrupted" message.

Can you help me with this? What should I be looking for to make them compatible?

Thank you

it is because of compression inside pdf.
Draw is not 100% sure how to decode compressed AIs, and maybe pdfs as well
Try to change compression options for your pdfs.
